Missions Trips

The great commission has implications for all believers. We are to share Jesus both in our local community and around the world.  West Ridge Church offers international trips for adults (18+) and international youth trips (grades 9-12) on a rotating basis. In addition youth and adults may take part in local or state-side service opportunities on the off years. 

We will be partnering with AG World Missions Live|Dead team in Cairo, Egypt.  Activities may include: praying with and encouraging the missionaries, participating in Conversation Club (teaching English) and training sessions on local culture prior to outreach, learning about the culture with visits to Garbage City, Coptic church, and Pyramids.

Team spots are limited and applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.  Prospective team members must submit an application and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (due to the sensitive nature of ministry in that area) before their application can be considered.  If approved for the team,  one must pay a $180 deposit by May 10th to secure their spot on the team. If applicants exceed the number of spots on the team, we will have a waiting list.

This adult missions trip is open to people ages 18 and over.

*The trip cost covers airfare, meals, lodging, transportation, and tourist activities.  Additional personal funds may be needed for passport fees, clothing and travel essentials, and souvenirs.
