JOB DESCRIPTION - Interim Worship Coordinator
POSITION STATUS: TEMPORARY PART-TIME HOURLY, NON-EXEMPT
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: December 2024 – March 2025
SCHEDULE: 10-15 Hours/Week, Flexible Daytime Mon – Thurs, Wednesday evenings, Sunday mornings
BENEFITS: None
SUPERVISION: Position is directly supervised by the Lead Pastor.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Interim Worship Coordinator at West Ridge Church is responsible for maintaining, leading, and
coordinating the weekly worship operations of the church at formally scheduled services on Wednesdays and
Sundays for adults and Ridge Youth. Scheduling worship teams and song slides through Planning Center and
Pro Presnter, facilitating worship team practices, and communication with team members. This position
provides necessary support services for the Pastoral Staff and congregation to fulfill the mission of
Connecting People to God.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
• A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ as evidenced by spiritual maturity and stability.
• Positive and gracious spirit
• Servant-hearted and self-motivated
• Ability to interact with people of various skill levels and perspectives in a worship capacity in a
pleasant, personable, and professional way
• Basic communication skills for Sunday morning congregational interaction and worship team
dynamics.
• Strong vocal and/or instrumental skills for the purpose of congregational worship.
• Attention to detail to complete worship preparation tasks on time
• Familiarity with Planning Center and Pro Presenter for designing and scheduling worship slides and
schedules.
• Ability to be a team player and work effectively on projects in collaboration with others

- Maintain a Christian outlook and attitude at all times.
- Maintain loyalty to the staff and church, actively promoting unity within the church.
